Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

These awesome ladies have rescued over 400 Pugs! Their goal is to never turn away a Pug.  So far they have succeeded due to the donations they have receive.

A Little About Us!

Hi, I’m Diana Leonard, “The Doggy Mommy”. I am married to a wonderful man named Young, “The Daddy”. We live in Henderson, Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas. I was born and raised in Las Vegas and love it! Young moved here, for me, from Hammond, Indiana. He has permanently retired his snow shovel! He loves it here too!

How We Met!

Young and I met at a little place next to Circus Circus I like to call “Sluts of Fun”! The real name is Slots of Fun but since we picked each other up there “Sluts Of Fun”!

Young had come to Las Vegas on the recommendation of his travel agent, he wanted to go to Phoenix to golf but it was cheaper to come to Vegas and he could play more golf. It rained all weekend!

It was October 1992, the World Series was on. I was not really that much into baseball but would come to find out that the man of my dreams loves sports. Go Bears! Anyway, the bar is always crowded, you just can’t get a place to sit. My friend Jack and I walk up to the bar and low and behold there was one seat available, next to this clean cut guy, in a denim shirt with a crease ironed in his sleeves! Of course Jack let me take the seat, we ordered a drink and I had to go to the bathroom, Jack was off talking to our friend, so I asked the charming man next to me to save my seat.

When I got back our life together began! He told me that it was actually his old wedding anniversary and that he and his wife were separated and headed for divorce court. We talked the night away and found that we had so many of the same dreams for the future we couldn’t believe it! We agreed to get together the next night, Friday! We have been together ever since!

Like I always say “Everything happens for a reason”!
