Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

There's Something Fishy Over Here!

It started out with a 1 gallon fish bowl.  Caiden and I have always looked at the fish when ever we go to the pet store.  Even though Caiden was barely 2 years old I thought it would be fun to have our own fish, so one day I caved and bought the fish bowl.  We had 3 very small fancy gold fish.

The next day when Caiden’s Dad woke him up he asked Caiden “Did you get some fishy’s”?  Caiden “Yes”…  Dad “What are they’re names”?  Caiden (as I was told by Dad) searching his mind like he was being tested, then all of a sudden shouted out “Gold”.   Dad …  “What are there last names”?  Again wanting to get it right “Fish”!  So from then on all three of them were name Gold.  Anyone that would ask their names were told Gold and Gold and Gold.

The funny thing is Caiden and I always knew which Gold we were talking about to each other.  I now understand George Foreman naming his son’s George.  I have heard him say they all know which son he is talking to or about when he says the name George!

Well of course a 1 gallon bowl needed to be cleaned every other day, not weekly like the clerk told me, DUH, I should have know better.  So we upgraded to a 3 gallon aquarium.  It worked out great.

Gold & Gold & Gold 7-08 Sputters like them Maybe they look yummy! Then we needed an algae eater, Caiden thought he looked like a shark and so he named him Sharky.  Well now we were hooked (ok I was hooked) and had to get a bigger aquarium, we just had to!  My husband had told everybody at the office that this was going to happen way back when I bought the 1 gallon fish bowl.   So I found a 28 gallon bowfront tank with a matching curved stand.

After we set up the new tank our fishy family grew a little at a time.  Mr. Belly is a beautiful bright orange and white fancy gold fish with a big flowing fantail.  He was named for his big belly, he is a piggy at dinner time.  We also have a Red Cap Oranda, she was kinda wierd to me at first, but then I thought she was so different we had to have her.  When my sister first saw her she said what is that “her brains”, her beautiful white pearlized body with that red “hat” on her head diserved a dignified name, so we call her “Hat Lady”.  Blacky a Black Moor with the most geogeous big eyes.  Speckles & Freckles, calico colored with black, orange & white. Poo Poo Head (guess who named him), Lippie Lipstick because he is bright orange with black lip liner.

We love our fish (probably me more than Caiden) I think they are relaxing to watch, like meditation to my soul, some day I hope to have a huge wall aquarium with salt water fish.  Of course I’ll be super rich and have Nemo and Dora and all of the most magnificently colored fishy swimming around for my enjoyment.  And of course, because I will be super rich someone else will take care of the tank.

This is one of my dreams.  A long with the huge acres of all of the wonderful animals I have always wanted.  Lots of space with green lush trees, plants and flowers and it will be so perfect.  All of the animals and the people will all love each other.   The foliage will flourish and of course I will have the most spick an span clean house, minimalist’s to the max.  My body will be healthy and fit as a fiddle.  And all of my time will be to help others (people and animals) in any way that I can.  Thank you God, Thank you Universe!
