Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

As far as I am concerned there is nobody better than Dr. Varela and his staff!

Update on Mugzee, my new adopted Pug

Mugzee has lived with us for two weeks now, we could not have chosen any better pug, he fits right in.  He has his own funny quirky things that he does just like most pugs.  He loves playing with toys, he often waits until Sputters gets a toy, he’ll engage her in a tug of war, then steals it away and takes off running to his bed.  Sputters just stands there with a look on her face like what the heck.

He is always so excited to see you when you come home, he does a toe tapping little dance making a funny squeaky snorting noise.  He is also a great little copy cat, as part of the pack, whatever Wrinkles and Sputters are doing, he’s doing.

One day I brought home 3 new toys, he got so excited, it was like no one had ever done that for him before, he tuck his tail and started running around in a circle has fast as he could go, even though he has that limp in his back left leg, believe me he is fast.

What ever happened to this little guy in the past, and judging by his physical look seems to have been pretty bad!  But it has not affected they way he looks at humans or other pugs!  There is no looking back for him.  Everyday he has shown me he just LOVES BEING ALIVE!  He is so happy, every minute of every day!  He has shown me the way that we all should look at life.

The other day, when I took Sputters to get her check up, Dr. Carlos Varela checked him out.  He was such a good boy and sat perfectly still while the doc looked him over.  Dr. Varela gave him a great bill of health.  He now weighs a healthy 20 pounds, which is amazing since he only weighed 13 pounds when Southern Nevada Pug Rescue received him in September.  You can no longer feel his back bone or ribs, he is just happy and healthy.  He was thought to be about 6 or 7 years old, but with his puppy attitude and look about him, I really think he is more like 4 or 5.

We just love him so much.  All I can say is please adopt, they are just so grateful.

I agree! Adopted & rescued dogs are SO grateful! @BennyGentlGiant adores being here & is such a big love. @LavaLuvLuv has taken longer to come around, because all she has known is love and a LOT of dogs. She was rescued at FOUR Weeks old & was placed with me when she was one year old! To her, it was like I took her from her home of love, but now that she has come around she is an adorable imp! (aside from the fact that she got carried away on her run today, she's totally awesome & all girly-girl) So great to hear your Mugzee is doing well! *hugs*

Rescue adoptees are the best! They have so much love to give, and I am convinced that they know that they are safe and loved. I'm so glad Mugzee has a forever home where he is loved and he can be what a pug is supposed to be. Bless you forever.
