Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

As far as I am concerned there is nobody better than Dr. Varela and his staff!

Life in 1955 the Year I was Born!

LIFE IN 1955

That’s only 55 years ago!

Comments made in the
Year 1955!

‘I’ll tell you one thing, if things
Keep going the way they are,
it’s going to be impossible to
Buy a week’s groceries for
$10.00.
(Say statements just different $ amounts) LOL!

‘Have you seen the new cars
Coming out next year? It won’t
Be long before $1,000.00 will
Only buy a used one.
  (I wished) LOL!

‘If cigarettes keep going up in
Price, I’m going to quit. 20 cents
A pack is ridiculous.
(Yeah I think I said that at $5 per pack, when I started they were 50 cents per pack)

‘Did you hear the post office is
Thinking about charging 7 cents
Just to mail a letter
(OMG!)

‘If they raise the minimum wage
To $1.00, nobody will be able to
Hire outside help at the store.
(My first job was at KFC minimum wage was $1.65 per hour)

‘When I first started driving, who
Would have thought gas would
Someday cost 25 cents a gallon.
Guess we’d be better off leaving
The car in the garage.
(35 cents per gallon for me in the 70’s)  LMAO!

‘I’m afraid to send my kids to the
Movies any more Ever since they
Let Clark Gable get by with saying
DAMN in GONE WITH THE WIND,
It seems every new movie has
Either HELL or DAMN in it.
(Ok love the movie but the word DAMN, well, I was not a parent just newly born)!

‘I read the other day where some
Scientist thinks it’s possible to put
A man on the moon by the end of
The century. They even have some
Fellows they call astronauts
Preparing for it down in Texas.
(I remember the first landing on the moon!  The space shuttles became a family event to watch when I was a kid) .

‘Did you see where some baseball
Player just signed a contract for
$50,000 a year just to play ball?
It wouldn’t surprise me if someday
They’ll be making more than the
President.
  (ROFLMAO)!!!

‘I never thought I’d see the day
All our kitchen appliances would
Be electric. They are even making
Electric typewriters now.
(I remember correcting IBM Selectrics were the bomb) WOW!

‘It’s too bad things are so tough
Nowadays. I see where a few
Married women are having to
Work to make ends meet.
(And that became the norm :(

‘It won’t be long before young
Couples are going to have to hire
Someone to watch their kids so
They can both work.
  (HOLLY DAY CARE COW)!

‘I’m afraid the Volkswagen car
Is going to open the door to a
Whole lot of foreign business.
(HA HA HA HA HA HA )!

‘Thank goodness I won’t live to
See the day when the Government
Takes half our income in taxes. I
Sometimes wonder if we are
Electing the best people to
Government.
(Still a big DUH in this day and age)

‘The drive-in restaurant is
Convenient in nice weather,
But I seriously doubt they

Will ever catch on.
(OH they caught on and ruined our health)!

‘There is no sense going
on short
Trips
anymore for a weekend, it
Costs nearly $2.00 a night to stay
In a hotel.
(WHAT!!!  I want to go back in time, NOW)!!!

‘No one can afford to be sick
Anymore, at $15.00 a day in
The hospital, it’s too rich for
My blood.’
($15 per day at a hotel would be awesome let alone at the hospital)  GEEEZZZZ!

‘If they think I’ll pay 30 cents
For a hair cut, forget it.(Was that 30 cents a half of second)

WOW!  I want to live in the past and complain!  LOL!
