Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

New Years Eve Romanic Adventures!

For my hubby and I, our very first New Years Eve, December 31st, 1992, was spent in Chicago, at the Chicago Hilton, I flew in first class! WHAT! I had never been upgraded to first class! WOW!

When you work for the Hilton you can request a complimentary room at other properties around the world.  It depends on availability if your request is granted.  So I went to a manager that was from Chicago and he got me NOT ONE… BUT 2 SUITES!!!  On New Years Eve!  This was unheard of!  We were hooking up with some great friends of ours that night and this just topped the night off!

And the plot thickens!  A couple of weeks before I was about to arrive in Chicago for the first time, I said to my honey “When I’m there can we go see a Bulls game”?  Young… are you crazy, you can’t get tickets to the Bulls!!!

So I had a new mission… I was going to get Bulls tickets!  What a great Christmas gift would this be for my honey!  So I went to my friend Keith.  He worked with me at the Las Vegas Hilton in sales, kind of a wheeler dealer guy that could smoosh the pants off anybody!  He also was from Chicago.

I walked into Keith’s office and say “Keith, can you get me tickets to a Chicago Bulls game”?  Sure, Keith said, picks up the phone in a matter of minutes I had tickets!!!  Not just any tickets but they were from a Circuit Court Judges season tickets!  Wooooo Hooooo!!!  They would be waiting for me at the front desk when I checked in at the Hilton!

I was so excited!  I had it all planned out!  I bought Young a Chicago Bulls Jacket for his Christmas gift, on the morning we opened our gifts, I had the tickets tucked in the back of my pajamas.  He opened the jacket and then I said turn around let me see the back and when he turned back around I had pulled out the tickets and was holding them up in the air and said “And I think you need these to go with it”!  He was so elated!  He fell on top of me, kissing and hugging me!  Everything about this trip was just magical!

Ok, so January 8th, 1993 we go to the Bulls game.  Our seats were 10 rows off the court!  That night Michael Jordan scored 20,000 points!!!

Event:  Chicago Bull Michael Jordan scores his 20,000th career point

When Young first moved here we went out on New Years Eve a couple of times but then we started staying home and having our own pajama party.  At first it started with appetizers leading up to Steak and Lobster at midnight.  That grew old over the years.

Now our favorite way to celebrate is still a pajama party, but we only do appetizers and drinks.  Look what my honey made for me this year!

Mini Lobster Rolls!

Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp with an Italian Salsa!

Shrimp Spring Rolls!

Mexican Crab Won Tons!

Everything was so delicious!  Young has a passion for creating the most wonderful dishes.  I am one lucky girl to have him in my life for so many reasons!

Thank you Young for being my honey and taking good care of me, I love you!

Happy New Year to all!
