Puggy, Foster #7
Monday, February 14, 2011 Puggy, a sweet gentle little man, 12 years old. He was originally surrendered by his family due to financial problems. It was heart breaking for them.
Then his first foster home could not keep him and he went into a second foster home and they adopted him but they fell on financial problems and had to surrender him back into rescue with Southern Nevada Pug Rescue. So I had the wonderful honor of being his 3rd and final foster home!
Today, on Valentine’s Day I got the best present ever! Puggy went to his forever home! YAY for rescue!!! His new Dad has adopted from SNPR before, he fell in love with Puggy and came to pick him up today!
Congratulations Puggy & Rick!

Update on Puggy!
Southern Nevada Pug Rescue
I have a white plastic chair in my back yard. …Puggy likes to move it around with his shoulder. I’ll try to get a movie of it.
The dog park is always good news. There are many new smells to smell and places to explore. And he is leash trained to the max.
Some of his favorites treats for the other pug fellows are bananas, apples, pears, oranges and of course the chicken and duck jerky. Puggy can’t seem to get the hang of this fruit stuff. I’ll bet he wouldn’t have a problem if it was a steak bite!
I’ve had a new doggy bed lying around for several years. None of my pack would use it. Puggy took one look and decided this would be his. Well, OK, Puggy, it is yours.
Puggy likes to wake up EARLY in the morning. This morning was the first time he allowed me to sleep in until 6:00 am. Usually it is 4:30 – 5:00 am for potty call. Maybe he just doesn’t want to go outside by himself when it’s dark out?

I know that Puggy is a very lovable dog. And at the same time, I know Rick is a very good pet owner. I am happy for them that they met. Cheers to the both of you.
