Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

Lucky Me!

Lucky Me , A Children’s Guide To Animal Companionship and Safety!  It is such an awesome book!  Written by a wonderful author Christi Drue Dunlap.  “Lucky Me”, narrated by a rescued dog named Rocky, provides a guide to children and parents looking to add an animal companion to their family.  Rocky and his friends explain the importance of taking care of a pet and what every animal guardian should know about caring for and keeping their new family member safe.

I LOVE IT!  I got it at Amazon.com this link will take you right to it!  You can also download it from iTunes iBooks on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

I think it should be in put in every school, animal shelter, and any place that has anything to do with pets!  They should make a movie about it!  I hope that the parents will read it and understand also about the big commitment it is to own a pet.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE PAGES!

I think everybody should have to sign a “Promise” to their new animal friend!  Just like a marriage, when you get an animal it is a LIFE LONG COMMITMENT, in sickness and in health, til death do you part!  SERIOUSLY!!!

As you all know I am a huge supporter of adopting a pet, but even more importantly on educating people on the responsibility of owning a pet.

Choosing the right pet for your family is extremely important!  As I always say  “DO YOUR HOMEWORK”!  Owning a pet is a huge responsibility, financially, medically and in everyway you can imagine.

Please educate your children with this wonderful book “Lucky Me”!

Rocky and his friends walk us through what a humane society can offer to animals, and what every animal guardian should know about caring for and keeping their new family member safe.
