Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

HELP SNPR RAISE $1,500 DOLLARS in TWO DAYS! Think it can't be done?

The pug loving community raised over $1800!!!
Sophie, on her way to the vet’s office so she can get ready for her big surgery tomorrow. Please keep this very very sweet girl in your thoughts that everything goes smoothly. Her recovery will be crate and restricted rest for about 6 weeks.  I’ll keep you posted once I hear how she does.

A day in the life of rescue! Got a call from the shelter. A 2 year old sweet as can be pug needing rescue due to a medial luxating platella. Called the vets office to see if transport can be made and what the approximate cost would be. After hearing $1500 dollars and knowing that we are currently already in debt to the vet and are str…uggling with the amount of pugs coming in, we discussed our options. Ultimately we know rescue was her only option and so we turned to you! 3 hours into the “Save Sophie Plea” we had raised $1,000 dollars and said “OK” to transport her to the vet! Here is Sophie arriving at the vet! We still need to raise the additional funds, and are hoping you will continue to repost and send out plea’s on our behalf! But Sophie is safe, and we are sure she is extremely grateful! We know we are!! ♥ See More

EMERGENCY: A pug named Sophie who is being referred to rescue today instead of being put to sleep is in desperate need of our help. She has a medial luxating patella and needs to have surgery on her knee.

Sophie is 2 years old and sweet as can be. SNPR can not imagine destroying a 2 year old pug over a little “nip-and tuck” of the knee caps! Her surgery (with our discount!) will cost SNPR $1200 - $1600 dollars depending on the severity of the knee. PLEASE help us get Sophie into rescue and set for surgery. We do not want her last days to be at a shelter. Please Please Please donate. Between Cosmo, Bobby-Hill, and the 20 others in rescue in just 2011 alone, we are desperate for your help.
