Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

Rock the Ages!

The other day I went to get my hair cut , the receptionist, a handsome young man said he was about to celebrate his birthday and that he was going to Disneyland! When I asked him how old he was going to be he looked down and sadly and stated “28”. I said why are you so sad, it’s a celebration!  He said “because I’m so old”!

I just don’t get it for as long as I can remember I have always wanted to be older. It seemed to me that older people had everything and could do anything. Now I do realize that as we get older we do tend to think more about dying, but isn’t that the point, we don’t want to be dead! Getting older means that your still here!

I remember when I turned 50 I thought that was just the greatest thing on earth, I remember driving with the uncontrollable urge to roll down the window and shout out “I just turned 50”! I am about to turn 54 this month and I am so very happy, happy that I am still here to talk about it. No I don’t have a great body, yes I have wrinkles on my face, but I am still here! As my dad always says “I’m still on the right side of the grass”!

Age is not about beauty, it’s about how long you have been here to live, to experience all of the wonderful things that life has to offer. So all I want to say to you is “Rock the Ages” rock your age to the best of your ability and be proud! Your still here! Happy Birthday!

Now if you want to talk sadly about your body, your health, the wrinkles, that’s a bunch of other topics.

As my dad always says “I’m still on the right side of the grass”!
