Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

Holiday Breakfast Casserole

Years ago a fellow co-worker brought this to a pot luck, it is so awesome!  Of course it’s good anytime of the year but it really comes in handy for Christmas or New Years Day breakfast.  You put it together the night before, then when you get up just pop it in the oven for about an hour.  I have made it in advance and frozen it uncooked, it came out just as good.  If you don’t want to make a 9x13 dish you can cut the recipe in half to make an 8x8 dish.  You can also freeze the left over cooked portions in individual baggies for another time, it microwaves great, right out of the freezer!

Ingredients:

2 - 16 oz tubes                        Jimmy Dean Hot or Plain Sausage

1 - 30 oz bag                           Ore-Ida Frozen Hash Browns

1                                            Onion Chopped

2 Cups                                     Milk

4 Cups                                     Shredded Colby-Jack Cheese

6                                             Eggs slightly beaten

½ tsp                                       Salt

Directions:

1.  Grease a 9 x 13 pan

2.  Brown and crumble sausage, drain fat

3.  In a large bowl mix everything together except 1 cup of cheese

4.  Pour mixture into the greased pan, top with 1 cup of cheese

5.  Cover and refrigerate overnight

6.  Next morning preheat oven to 350 degrees, bake uncovered 60 minutes or more.

7.  Let sit for 5 minutes

8.  Cut into the size portions you want and serve (3x3)

I made this for New Year’s Day breakfast.  It is the above recipe cut in half, in an 8 x 8 baking dish.
