Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

Broken Hearts

It’s amazing to me that when you first meet someone they can do no wrong, they walk on water, birds fly around their head and shoulders as they walk down the street.  They are just that great!  You walk around like you’ve been hit with pixie dust, grinning from ear to ear, floating on a cloud with a glow that could light up the Las Vegas strip.

So you move in together, and after a few years of getting caught up in the everyday swing of things, that snort at the end of Marylou’s laugh is now like finger nails on a chalk board.  That cute little wink of Billy’s that used to make you flutter your eye lashes and giggle now makes you roll your eyes in disgust.  How do we lose that loving feeling?  Was it ever really there to begin with?  Or do we just get caught up in the euphoric hormonal splendor of it all.

After 5 years of what I am going to call a love, hate relationship, two people whom I love dearly have decided to part ways.  I know they love each other, but they just can’t seem to see eye to eye, to agree to disagree, they just can’t get along.  It’s not their faults.  They have tried, really hard, but have come to the realization that it’s just not going to work out.

And it breaks my heart, I feel like I am breaking up with them.  I know it’s crazy, I am still going to see them almost on a daily basis.  It’s just so sad, and it will tear a piece out of our entire family.  We love them both so much.  I am concerned about how their little boy with handle it.  But if there is one thing I know for sure, they both love him and will do what ever it takes to get him through this, and so will I.

It never gets any easier, even when your older, if there is one thing that I have learned in life it is that “Everything Happens For A Reason”!  This is my slogan for life.  You might not understand why for many years to come, but if you pay attention, one day you will.  I think it’s a path to something else in the book of your life.

So if I could offer some advice…

I would say take something good away from the experience, you learned something about yourself.  And always pay attention to what life is showing you.
