Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

This is where I take my kids, Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee, Taz, Dex & Lucky.

Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon

Lately we have been eating a LOT of fish and LOVING IT!  Were addicted to it, were craving it!  Our bodies and our brains must be needing some Omegas!

So one day, a friend gave me some “Pink Salmon” fresh caught by her husband in Alaska!  I was so excited… basically I was in heaven!!!  I wanted to do something special with it and this is what I came up with.  It was sooooo easy and sooooo delicious!!!

First get yourself some Cedar Grilling Planks soak them for about 2 hours

Finley Chop up some Fresh Dill

Chop up 2 (two) cloves of Fresh Garlic

Mix it all together with some Olive Oil (enough to spread under and over the Salmon) and a little bit of fresh squeezed Lemon and some Sea Salt,

 Make some Lemon slices!

Take the Cedar Plank you have been soaking and wipe it dry.
Then spread the Dill, Garlic, Lemon, Olive Oil mixture onto your Cedar Plank.
Add some of the sliced lemons.
Pat the Salmon dry and place it on top of that mixture.
Spread the rest of mixture on top of the Salmon and place more lemon slices.  That’s it!

Put your wonderful Cedar Plank Salmon on the grill for approximately 10-15 minutes!

Grab a cookie sheet to bring it in!

I served it with steam Bok Choy, drizzled with a little bit of Soy Sauce
and a few drops of Sesame Seed Oil!!!!

THIS WAS SO YUMMY!!! I can’t even begin to tell you!
