Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

Resolutions

I never have really been one to set New Year’s Resolutions, as a matter of fact for many years my resolution was to set no resolutions.  And after all, every year the media comes out with a list of why resolutions don’t work and that most resolutions are usually broken within the first week or two.  Makes you want to give up before you even get started.  I really don’t understand when we all decided that the media have become some sort of authority in our lives.

So I pondered, what is a resolution?  To resolve something?  Yes that’s it!  I really do need to correct some things in my life, that quite frankly I have let go now for to many years.  Like my body, my home, maybe even my attitude on some days.

Of course the begining of the new year is the perfect time to make changes.  Perfect because in my family we don’t have any birthdays until the end of March.  There really aren’t any holidays until Valentines Day, we celebrate with a great dinner, that can be healthy.  And then there is St. Patrick’s day on March 17th, a holiday that I like to make corned beef and cabage with red potatoes and carrots.  Yummy, now I making myself hungry.

So this year I realized that my clock is really ticking.  I know just how fast the last 25 years have gone by and if I don’t get busy the next 25 years will have past and I will be doing exactly what I didn’t want to do.  And so I have a made a list of goals, resolutions, changes, what ever you want to call them, that I not only want to achieve, but actually need to.  Lets just say that I have decided that I really would like to live longer.  That maybe in my old age I would like to do more than visit doctors and take a handful of pills everyday.  After all who in the heck is going to set up my pill trays for the month.

1.  I’m going to stop listenting to the media

2.  Get my house in order

3.  Get rid of that leathal belly fat

4.  Quit Smoking

5.  Eat Healthier

6.  Quit Drinking so much

7.  Exercise

8.  Read more

9.  Learn how to use my camera

10.  Get involved

I could go on and on, but I really do need to get busy living in a good way, so hey, I can live longer!

On Monday, January 4th, 2010, I will begin my new lifestyle.

I’ll keep you posted, I always do better if I have to report to someone, so I have chosen you!
