Update on Mugzee, my new adopted Pug
Monday, November 2, 2009

Mugzee has lived with us for two weeks now, we could not have chosen any better pug, he fits right in. He has his own funny quirky things that he does just like most pugs. He loves playing with toys, he often waits until Sputters gets a toy, he’ll engage her in a tug of war, then steals it away and takes off running to his bed. Sputters just stands there with a look on her face like what the heck.
He is always so excited to see you when you come home, he does a toe tapping little dance making a funny squeaky snorting noise. He is also a great little copy cat, as part of the pack, whatever Wrinkles and Sputters are doing, he’s doing.
One day I brought home 3 new toys, he got so excited, it was like no one had ever done that for him before, he tuck his tail and started running around in a circle has fast as he could go, even though he has that limp in his back left leg, believe me he is fast.
What ever happened to this little guy in the past, and judging by his physical look seems to have been pretty bad! But it has not affected they way he looks at humans or other pugs! There is no looking back for him. Everyday he has shown me he just LOVES BEING ALIVE! He is so happy, every minute of every day! He has shown me the way that we all should look at life.
The other day, when I took Sputters to get her check up, Dr. Carlos Varela checked him out. He was such a good boy and sat perfectly still while the doc looked him over. Dr. Varela gave him a great bill of health. He now weighs a healthy 20 pounds, which is amazing since he only weighed 13 pounds when Southern Nevada Pug Rescue received him in September. You can no longer feel his back bone or ribs, he is just happy and healthy. He was thought to be about 6 or 7 years old, but with his puppy attitude and look about him, I really think he is more like 4 or 5.
We just love him so much. All I can say is please adopt, they are just so grateful.

Sputters, Wrinkles & Mugzee getting a treat!
