Welcome to...

I started this blog to talk about my girls, two pugs, Wrinkles & Sputters, our kids!  We got them as puppies and they are 10 years old now!

Since starting my blog we now have adopted four little boy pugs, Mugzee, adopted in October 2009, Taz in May 2010, Dex October 2010 and Lucky the latest addition to our family, adopted November 2010.  So if you catch me talking about the girls and boys, or my kids, you’ll know who I mean.

I’m a stay at home Mommy to Wrinkles, Sputters, Mugzee,Taz, Dex & Lucky.  In May of 2010, I became a Foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  On a daily basis I may have 7 pugs and my great nephew Caiden who is 5 when he is not in school.

I thought this would be a great place for you to hear about our adventures with pugs. To spread the word about rescue and just have some fun.  Anyway… I have so much I want to share with you about the things in my life that I love… Pugs, Kids, Fishy’s, Eating, Drinking, Decorating, Travel and just plain living life to the fullest!

I hope while your here you can find something to wag your tail about!

These awesome ladies have rescued over 400 Pugs! Their goal is to never turn away a Pug.  So far they have succeeded due to the donations they have receive.

The Soggy Dog Pug Scrub

Last night Young, Mugzee and I went to The Soggy Dog for an exclusive after hour event for the Southern Nevada Pug Rescue.  We had such a great time!  I got to meet some new pugs up for adoption and some alumni pugs with their forever families.

I just can’t say enough about The Soggy Dog and what a great place they have!  Their prices are awesome and they carry so many products I can even begin to name them.  But the best thing I love about going there is that Tracy, Vera & Jeff are so awesome!  Thanks for having us!

Yippie! I'm a Foster Mommy!

I am so proud to announce that I am now a foster Mommy for Southern Nevada Pug Rescue!

I have wanted to be a foster Mommy for so, so long now.  I guess it was ever since we adopted Mugzee.  It opened up a whole new world to me.  However, every time I would mention it, my hubby would say no.  He just didn’t think we would be able to let them go.  I have to admit I was a little scared myself.  Can you say foster failure!

But then all hell broke loose!  Within a 24 hour period SNPR took in 6 pugs!  They were coming in from everywhere, it was raining pugs!  As my husband walked in door from work, I looked at him with puppy dog eyes and pleaded, “Honey we have to help!”  “We can do it!”  “They need foster homes!”  He looked at me with a smile on his face and his heart on his sleeve, “Ok, I’m gonna go along with what ever you say.”  And so it began…

Meet Zoe, my first foster:

Zoe, is a 5 year old, sweet little girl.  She came from a good home that unselfishly had to let her go.  Gratefully she was adopted by the wonderful man who picked her up in California and drove her to Las Vegas.  He and his wife have 3 boy pugs.  She melted his heart and he knew she would fit right in with their family!

Bruno, my 2nd foster:

Bruno!  He’s a big gental giant! 2 1/2 years old and 25 pounds of snuggle.  Wants to be with you at all times.  He is just a great big cuddle bug!  I am happy to announce that his adoption is pending.

All that I can tell you is that I have been so very blessed by this whole experience!  We almost had foster failure with Zoe, my hubby fell in love with her and still gets vaclempt at the thought of her.  However, we did adopt a beautiful little boy named Taz!  He was supposed to be foster #2, after Zoe.

Now I am not counting this as foster failure, LOL, the only information we knew about him was that he was a 4 year old black male.  We just had a gut feeling he was right for us, we had not even seen a picture of him, we just knew!  We were so right!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am please to introduce TAZ!  Or as I like to call him Taz The Man or Tazzy!  Thank you God for this beautiful little boy!

He was surrendered from a breeder because he had a low sperm count.  Thank God!  At first he was a little skittish, never  really knowing the love of a family, he got over that quick, he is so smart and has already learned so much.  We love him so much!

Adopted pets are so very grateful, they shower you with so much love and appreciation, it truly is priceless.   If you are thinking of getting a pet, please adopt, you won’t be sorry!
